One Who Needs Support

February 3, 2019

Since coming out two weeks ago, I’ve received an amazing amount of support, compassion, and acceptance. For sure, there are also lots of people who are angry at me too, but the love has more than outweighed the hate.

Attention and compassion have also been directed toward people who have been harmed by psychotherapeutic practices and group processes associated with conversion therapy.

But there’s one person who seems to have been all but forgotten in all of this, and who has for sure been harmed in a most personal way. That is my ex-wife. She, probably even more than I, needs love, compassion and support right now. If you know her, please reach out to her. You don’t have to take sides. Just make sure she knows she’s loved and not forgotten.
